In this blog, we will explain “TawkTo“ integration with Liferay.

Configurations in TawkTo

Create an account in TawkTo.

Create one chat widget

Navigate to settings

Take value of property id and save it somewhere

Now navigate to the chat widget and copy the value of the widget ID.

Merge the property id and widget id (property_id/widget_id) you can also get this value from “Direct Chat Link“ from the above image.

Configurations in Liferay

Log in using Admin in Liferay.

Navigate to the Instance settings.

Choose the “Click to Chat“ setting

Enable Click to Chat and provide account id. (property_id/widget_id)

Ket ID and secret key are optional; if required you can generate them from TawkTo and provide them here.

Once values are set, save this setting.

Thats it… Chatbot I enabled now.
